Sounds Like
Some say I sound like: The Posies, David Bowie, Air, Serge Gainsbourg, The Beatles, Neil Young, Big Star, The Band, Teenage Fanclub, Scott Weiland, Stone Temple Pilots, Meat Puppets, 22 Pistepirkko, Steve Harley, The Undertones, Herman's Hermits, Ben Folds Five, Billy Joel ... Please tell me if there's more!
After the great years with Time Flies and 86 Yourself, I focus my energy on my solo songs - of course if there are energy left, after raising three children, working in my daytime job plus watching and writing about extraordinary movies (click the banner).
At the time I record my songs with Linux-based PC and magnificent software Ardour, and you can hear some of the results with song "She's Not a Human Being".

"A Drop in the Ocean"
A GB [GarageBand] treasure, immediately went to download the mp3, those chords, those lyrics, those feelings, you can hear the hierarchy of all their influences while still remaining completely original and themselves, this is music for your earpods as you walk around the city, and people will look at you and wonder why you have a stupid look on your face and a little swing in your step, hallelujah, guys

Now this is a neat track..Inspired off-beat pop/rock song.Really strong songwriting and instantly engaging-full of personality.Has a late Beatles feel but still sounds authentic.I love the piano and guitar-scape.Love the harmonies..Has a great symmetrical quality thats at once natural but still original.A song written with some love-a rarity on GB..I can tell the bands probarbly French 'everyday i SINK of you'.The gaellic sense of musical adventure in people like Air and serge Gainsbourg is definitely alive and well here..Good stuff-this inspires me.I'm adding it to my playlist..Respect..5/5

"20 000 Days"
Old school country-rock. This has a feel good vibe to it. I like the guitars, old Teenage Fan Club/big star feel to them. Its a nice song, i like the changes. The guys voice suits the mood arrangement of the song. It sounds like hes slightly cracking up, but this is good thing. In parts it reminds me of Canyon. I dont know if the Band or Neil Young are direct influences but i can hear some in there. Production wise, its clear and well mixed. The drum sound is very good. I liked it, its got some nice hooks.
