MARIGOLDS TO MARS: A FASHION SHOW & PERFORMANCE
Lead Designer, Zoe Trouble of Rotten Panda
Saturday, June 9, 2007, 7-11 pm
Marigolds To Mars brings together art in fashion in this one-night-only display. With inspirations from periods past, cult horror films, recycling, 60's psychedelic, burlesque, and just bizarre, the fashion is the art. Designs explore a world of abstract shapes, asymmetry, unusual textiles, and color. The performances have a macabre, gypsy-esque feel to them, and even the models are unconventional. The audience will feel like they are in a David Bowie video written by Tim Burton and directed by Andy Warhol. This show will leave you thinking outside of the little black dress...
