    "someday things will change i can't hold time in my hands all i have are my feelings, these moments in my heart." After six years as Escape From Sickness we've decided to split up. We're extremely thankful for the time we spent together and for you supporting us by coming to our shows talking to us or buying some merchandise. The reasons for splitting up are very hard to couch, it is more a feeling we have. It's a feeling of "walking on", a feeling of "breaking out and starting something new". It was a very good time, but all good things come to an end. Some of us will try to start something new in an other formation, others enjoy the nascent spare time to spend with their friends and families. To go without saying we will play all the upcoming shows. At the following concerts you have the possibility to rock and party with us: Sat, 14 Apr Baden, CH Merkker Sat, 28 Apr Zizers, CH Eventstage Sat, 12 May Wil, SG, CH Gare de Lion We would love to see you at one of our last shows, to talk to you and to bury this wonderful era. All the best Escape From Sicknes ESCAPE FROM SICKNESS was founded in 2007 by four guys and a young lady. Since 2008, the band has regularly been playing shows in and outside of Switzerland. Bundled energy combined with a touch of emotional hardcore is not the only element of their music, but the young band is also known for their impressive live-show. It doesn't matter if they perform on a hanger in the snow or in an English nightclub - ESCAPE FROM SICKNESS enjoys every single show with a hundred percent dedication... The first EP called „WOUNDS BECOME SCARS"was released in 2009. The songs on that EP show that the band's sound comes directly from their hearts. EFS is not only about hardcore! Even though the band's music is clearly influenced by Hardcore and Metal, it cannot be easily classified. Their sound holds many surprises, which can be discovered... In spring 2010, one of the founding guitarists and the female bass player leave the band due to their job situation and lack of time. Two new members were found and have been well integrated: After the first few concerts with the new lineup everyone can clearly see - ESCAPE FROM SICKNESS is even more vivid than ever before!.. The five guys from the east part of Switzerland don't just encourage to get moving on stage. Their lyrics consist of topics that are far deeper than dollhouses and pink dolphins. Subjects of justice are screamed out by the shouters' lungs, telling everyone to stand up for what he believes in and not to be afraid of any difficulties. Their lyrics make you think and act. A positive message put into aggressive sound; this is what ESCAPE FROM SICKNESS is all about. .... ESCAPE FROM SICKNESS wurde 2007 von vier Jungs und einer jungen Dame in die Welt gerufen. Seit 2008 spielt die Band Shows im In- uns Ausland. Geballte Energie kombiniert mit einem Hauch emotionaler Härte zeichnet sowohl die Musik, wie auch die Liveshow der Band aus. Egal ob auf Traktoranhängern im Schnee oder Nightclubs in England - ESCAPE FROM SICKNESS geniesst jede Show und gibt stets das Beste... Die 2009 erschienene EP „WOUNDS BECOME SCARS" macht unmissverständlich klar, dass ihr Sound direkt aus dem Herzen kommt und EFS mehr als nur eine weitere Hardcoreband ist. Auch wenn die meisten Einflüsse im Hardcore und Metal zu finden sind, lässt sich EFS nicht einfach einordnen, denn ihr Sound birgt so manche Überraschungen in sich... Im Frühling 2010 verliessen ein Gitarrist und die Bassistin aus beruflichen und zeitlichen Gründen die Band. Die beiden neuen Mitglieder konnten sich schnell integrieren. Nach den ersten gemeinsamen Konzerten ist klar, dass die Band nichts an ihrer live- Dynamik eingebüsst hat... Die fünf Jungs aus dem Osten der Schweiz animieren nicht nur auf der Bühne zum Abgehen, auch ihre Texte handeln nicht von Puppenhäusern und rosaroten Delfinen. Kritische Themen werden aufgegriffen und in schreiende, teilweise anklagende Messages verpackt. Ihre herausfordernden Texte regen nicht nur zum Denken an, sondern schreien dem Hörer auch Mut zu, seine Träume zu verwirklichen und für Gerechtigkeit aufzustehen... Eine positive Message in aggressivem Sound verpackt; dafür steht ESCAPE FROM SICKNESS.
