Escape is a rock band made up of five musicians. With a vocalist, two guitarists (1 electric, 1 acoustic), a bassist, and a drummer there are plenty of ideas and influences that help shape their music. Escape has a diverse style; progressive, southern, and jam are just a few categories that can come to mind, sometimes even within the same song. Their first show was in November of 2003. Since that time they have built a strong regional following playing continuously in St. Louis and Southern Illinois. An Escape live show never fails to please; with an always expanding catalog of originals and some occasion cover tunes, they can feed the good vibes for a great high-energy party atmosphere. Escape released their self-titled debut album in March of 2008. The album is a fine display of what Escape thrives to do both musically and lyrically.
