Escarlatina Obsessiva was formed in 2006 by Karolina (bass and vocals) and Zaf (guitar,
keyboards and synthesizers), influenced by the european 80's post punk bands
and the american 80's punk rock bands...Bands like Gruftrosen, TSOL, Bad Brains, Malaria!, Xmal Deutschland,
Siekiera, Siouxsie and the Banshees, David Bowie, Adolescents, The Clash, Tozibabe, Bush Tetras and Grauzone are always been listenning by
then. Escarlatina Obsessiva recorded 3 albuns and released all of them with 80's Records, in Brazil. Their second album "Blossomy Parks" was released in USA by Recorded, Recordings, Records. Their last album Pandemic was released by Zorch Factory (a french net label) too . The albuns are:
Chants of Lethe (a darkwave and glommy album) and Blossomy Parks (album where Escarlatina's post punk vein were emerge). Pandemic is phisically available on 80's Records too...This album has 10 tracks and you can download all of them on Zorch Factory's site:

Do it yourself always been a way to Escarlatina Obsessiva do their projects, recordings, videos..
They did several gigs in these 3 years...The first live show happened in December 2007 at Sat Night's in São Paulo, with the band Days are Nights.
In March of 2008 they opened Dive's show in São Paulo, with Cybernetic Faces at Hertz Fest and again, in december of 2008 they opened the Plastic Noise Experience's and Serpent's gig, in São Paulo, at the Inferno Club (Projeto Ferro Velho)...Still in 2008, they take part of the Woodgothic Festival (this festival was idealized by themselves at their home town, São Thomé das Letras, Minas Gerais)... the gig at the Cambridge Hotel (certainly their best gig in 2008), in São Paulo (Projeto Via Underground), in September and in Belo Horizonte at the Matriz venue. And finally, in 2009, Escarlatina released a Tribute for one of their favourite bands, TSOL. It is a tribute where some brazilian post punk bands recorded their favourite TSOL's song...it is available for free download also on Zorch Factory:

About Pandemic, they released this album with a gig at Outs Club (São Paulo - Via Underground & Projeto Ferro Velho ) with Plastique Noir, A Banda Invisível and Blue Butterfly. Now they're preparing the next gig and recording Pandemic - B sides!!! In November, 28 2009 they will gig once again at Inferno Club in São Paulo with 2 great brazilian bands (Days are Nights and Jardim do Silêncio)

Comé maltinha, prontos para mais um tema do nosso 1º EP "SEMENTES DA DESORDEM"?
Já podem escutar o revisitado tema "BAR DA GNR", tema nº 2 do EP e que precede às "GUITARRAS DE GUERRA". Este tema já com alguns anitos lavou a cara e foi gravado no inicio de 2009 com novos arranjos, mantendo no entanto todo o carisma que vez dele um dos hinos dos ERVAS DANINHAS. Durante 20 dias, mais ou menos, vão poder entrar no "BAR DA GNR" e buer uma cervejola e morfar uma entremeada e até mesmo apanhar uma carraspana sem ficarem de cana... Dêm gás no volume e acordem os vizinhos... pelo menos aqueles que dormem a sesta ao Domingo à tarde. O "BAR DA GNR" contou com a presença de dois convidados muito especiais, foram eles o Igor e o Arroja dos SHIVERS, que por entre copos de binho e assaltos à sacristia ainda tiveram tempo para uma ida à Sela... ops, desculpem o erro... uma ida à cela.
