ESE came from Milano, Italy and is a collective of two (plus some collaborations) that loves music and try to communicate within the music itself their emotions, feelings, philosophy and vision of the world. The magic stream of the music that awakes our internal sounds is the key of our experience and what we want to say through our music. Piero Marchesi & Stefano Contini started collaborating in 1999, coming from different musical experiences. They joined throw a common interest for ethnological & ethnobotanical studies, a long friendship merged in a musical ambient-electro project: [ESE] Entheogenic Sound Explorers.
Invited for some live gigs in Amsterdam we had the opportunity of refining what became our latest musical work. Different songs in fact were arranged and mastered between Milano and Amsterdam (where Stefano was working at that time). ESE were broadcasted different times on RAI (Italian national radio), plus played differentlive gigs in Italy.
Pure original sounds and samplings taken from different locations around the world (especially Mexico) were added on this masterpiece.
this Album represent a meditative situation;¦.a voyage throw the consciousness of Ancient Spaces, where the time is just an idea that flows away. Nature is one of the great Doors between us and those Sacred Spaces.

The Other Door showcases the more catchy, ambient dub influenced (The Orb) side of the band. Melodic synth sounds, varied rhythmic elements, psychedelic effects and an occasional guitar combine into a lovely, timeless sound.
