During the autumn of 2008 a collective of Scottish musicians and singer/songwriters gathered together in the hills outside of Glasgow to start making music.
They all shared a sense of excitement about big-jump-about music with some key ingredients; thunderous rhythms, ecstatic guitars, and multi-voiced songs.
Tony Soave, Ali Whitty, Eoin Thomson, Yvonne Lyon, David Lyon and Lee Patterson have been busy in their Igloo writing and recording and are about to start introducing the material during two 2008 shows.
Early indications are that the sum of these parts is creating something spellbinding, prompting one radio DJ to declare that he would 'have to dance naked at one of the gigs'. (Worth the price of admission on its own!) and playing "Light It Up' twice on the same show! ( Thats over 17 mins of air play!!!! )
Vocal and instrumental duties are shared by all the band and Upright piano's , Glock's, Moog's, Squeeze-boxes and anything else that can make a tuneful kerthump are all fair-game.
ESKIMOGO'S first EP will be available for purchase at the live shows as well as online.
