“If Charlie Chaplin wrote songs with Bjork to
be the soundtrack for a Tim Burton film, their
collective musical result would come close to
resembling the goodness, timelessness and
otherworldliness of e.s.l.”
-- Denise Sheppard, music journalist (Rolling
Stone, Amazon.com)
Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. Your beauty is equal to the smoothness of a polished gem. Your essence is equal to the beauty of a galaxy. I find your eyes to be a wondrous amusement park filled with neo-plastic pleasures and turkish delights. May you be as vivid as your hallucinations. Transistors bridge where your vanity would never go. Your eyes are like spheres of crystal water filled with shimmering dreams. Blinking reveals the true visage of beauty hidden within your eyes. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. So charmingly silky, your skin is like a teardrop on a popsickle. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. You are dressed with filaments and people take pains to make you fully incandescent this evening. A starfish's lifelong hallucinations of gelatin pools and of actuaries floating upon the foam and reciprocal ohm. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles.
I've been listening to side by side for three days straight. So beautiful. Thank you. Also very excited to play a show with you ladies next month. Warm Regards
Just thought you should know, i haven't been able to listen to ANYTHING but Eye Contact for days now... It's a sickness really. That is all, good day to you. :)
