   About esmae
Started in 2002, I think, in Ann Arbor. Tom came that year. Jaime came later. Made music through summer 2005. Played only a few shows, entirely in Michigan. Recorded intermittently. Last recording effort produced 4 songs from 1/4" and computer recordings. "Red Channel," "Every Rock Hudson Sweats With Suffering," "Fly Spirit," and "Madame Nhu." Ended after Jamie and Taylor left Ann Arbor. Tom now records for Kranky as Benoit Pioulard and others still make music, too-- Luke as Viul, Taylor as Honely Burdock

Thanks to Esmae's blatant disregard of plectrums, I'll never have to buy another guitar pick ever again. Thanks for choosing the orange ones so they're easier to find on the floor!

esmae are coolest.

long winters in basements and condemned tech buildings, long summers in the astute consideration of the sun.

the always-hope of outdoing the bands we opened for.
