About me:

Espana Tapas Bar is Omaha's only authentic Spanish/Mediterranean restaurant, bar and club. Espana has over 60 tapas to chose from and the quality and integrity of the food rivals other tapas restaurants throughout the country. Tapas, or "small plates" as they are known, are many delicious dishes that can be enjoyed in a communal style. Espana often has flamenco guitarists, Latin jazz shows and flamenco/salsa dance performers for your dining pleasure.

Espana is home to the monthly world-beat/global soul event, loom: Weaving The Social Fabric Through Dance. Bringing together people of all ethnicity, age groups and social class, loom is a positive and uplifting dance experience that brings a capacity crowd to each event. Sexy. That’s the word that comes to mind when I think of Espana. The style, staff, and soul of Espana all have the appeal that makes even the drabbest of days turn around!

The light bounces off of the wooden floors, highlighting the artwork adorning the walls, as if each reflection were perfectly placed by hand. Close, intimate seating allows for a more romantic feel for couples. However, I personally think that Espana is best enjoyed with a large group of friends! This is a great way to bring people together. Invite friends who have never met. The conversation flows easier than the sangria!

Homemade Sangria and Mojitos are Espana’s domains! Made completely in-house, these are potent, tasteful and traditional! There is a fully stocked bar and an amazing wine list for those of you with a little different taste as well.

The Espana art gallery is a great place for gathering friends and family or even a business function. Formally the home of Saddle Creek records, the art gallery now features local artisans work that not only set the environment, but also are available for purchase!
