About me: Welcome to my space.
I have worked in the photographic industry for over twenty years. My work has included publicity material in the commercial sector working with large and medium format cameras & portrait/wedding work. I've also spent over 13 years working in Forensic Science with Fingerprint and Footwear images. I mainly used the Mamiya RB67 with a selection of lenses and 5”x4” Sinar P1.
Today I use the Nikon D200, Nikon D2XS, and Fuji S3 Pro with Nikon AFS VR 70-200mm, Nikon 105mm AFS VR Macro, Nikon AFS 12-24mm, Sigma 50-500mm, Nikon 18 - 70mm, Nikon 24mm, Nikon 500mm AFS II prime, Nikon 1.4 & 1.7 TC and the Swarovski ATS 80HD scope with a variety of Lee filters and attachments to photograph wildlife and the amazing landscapes of the United Kingdom. Who I'd like to meet: Here are a selection of my photographs:
Hello Esther, I hope the new year has got off to a great start for you. It has been quite a while since I viewed your beautiful photography, just thought I would have another browse. All the very best, John
I have five new photos up on my website: three in the fine art portfolio and two in the macro wildlife portfolio. Check them out! Comment me back and let me know what you think!
Thank you soo much. I like your pitcures, You really get up close on those animals. You must have a pretty large zoom lense 300-400mm maybe larger. Keep up the great work. Take care and talk to you soon.
Thanks for the add and recent comments. Nice to meet like minded souls. For something different I recently spent a day up a Welsh mountain shooting fast jets passing BELOW me:) If ever you want to test your reactions try it some time! see my low fly blog for more if you get time... regards from sheffield, aorp.
I like what I see in your gallery, but I need more!!
That Sigma 50-500 is a beast. What support are you using for that? I'm toying with the idea of a big telephoto zoom, but the 200-400 Nikon is just too pricey. I've always dismissed the Sigma 50-500 because of the sliding aperture, but how do you find it in low light?
Really nice shots Esther, its a pleasure looking through your work. Just got myself a Sigma 50-500mm on thursday, have been having fun with it.
All the best,
John
