ETCETERA, New York’s own, Brooklyn Boy Wonder, first hit the scene in 2000 working with one of the industry’s platinum acclaimed producers Kwamé. ETCETERA has now flourished into this dynamic artist/writer and entrepreneur, continuing to work with his mentor Kwamé but has added an arsenal of new successful producers such as Domingo, Young Seph, Around One Productions and more. He has been labeled one of the best underground artist chart toppers to date, not only for his personal projects, but also his writing and producing for other artists as well. Presently his accolades are beginning to build up rapidly as an artist and a personality on the commercial side with features on movie soundtracks, product spokesperson, movie roles and more.
During this time ETCETERA has made the transition from independent artist to a major label entertainer beginning with the joint venture with Universal Music Group/Federal Distribution through TSOB Records label. His first two singles “Take U There” and “Dance Like That” catapulted him into the mainstream pop/urban culture. The follow up “OMG (Throw Ya Handz Up)” brought back his hip hop roots to once again re-affiliated his original fan base and astonishing his newly found one with his talents. ETCETERA has been featured as “the new face to see” on the red carpet at 51st Annual Grammy Awards according to AP, MSN, Fox News and ABC and well as premiering on the cover of Protégé Magazines Grammy edition as “The Face of Change” he also was the featured artist at the 16th Pan African Film & Arts Festival during Grammy weekend for his soundtrack performance of “Backin’ Up”, which was selected as the theme song from the festival’s movie Stepping (http://myspace.com/SteppingMovie) out on DVD now! Since then ETCETERA has also been requested to make red carpet appearances at the VMA’s, Billboard Awards and the Emmy’s.
