Currently we love Manga Shakespeare (it's like sci-fi samurai ultraviolent tragedy, and really brilliant), 'Cloud Atlas' by David Mitchell and Glen David Gold's 'Carter Beats the Devil', which is about magicians getting up to all kinds of mischief. What's not to love?
