Hello, my name is Mike, and you've reached the Myspace domain of Eternal Champion. EC is a solo project of mine that serves as a fictitious band and an outlet to my hopes and dreams.
Don't fret, my music has absolutely nothing to do with the horrible fighting game that shares the same name from the early 1990's, or any video games at all for that matter -- but I am heavily influenced by video game music. I combine a heavier style of music with soothing melodies, fusing electric guitar and beautiful synthesis together. Music really is the ultimate form of art and expression.
I'm greatly influenced by many of today's metal stereotypes, but don't let that discourage you from listening. I present these various styles of music in a digestible fashion, and you'll find that most of my songs involve similar themes, but are all presented quite differently. You know what they say though, expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed. The one thing I try to emulate in my music is that indescribable feeling, something that can't be put into words alone. Some emotions just can't be emulated by word, so I feel it's best to just let my music speak for itself.
I currently use an Ibanez RG2EX1 electric guitar, combined with a Line 6 Pod XT Live for my sonic assault. I piece my music together through both Propellerhead's Reason and Sony's Acid Pro, with the aid of a small midi keyboard attached to my computer keyboard, the Creative Prodikeys. I'm able to get the job done pretty efficiently, it's just a bit tedious at times.
I primarily make music to benefit myself, but it's always great to hear what someone else thinks of it. So feel free to drop me a line in the comments below or in a private message, and above all else: Stay Metal.
I haven't had any of your music on my computer for over a year... I just listened to Kingdom Come for the first time in a while and it made me hella nostalgic. Kudos. Keep recording those RE playthroughs. lol
