    .. .. ...... ........ ...... Eternal is a Thrash/Death Metal band from San José, Costa Rica, born in September 2004. Five years later it has become in one of the most important acts in the extreme local scene and has been claimed among the finest Metal bands in the country. .. .. After an exhaustive search for musicians, Eternal started gigging and being noticed in 2005 led by guitarist/vocalist William Suárez, when the line up was hardly stable but strong enough to make their first live appearances in different concerts and contests. The local scene slowly started to drive its attention to this young promise in the Metal scene. .. .. In 2006 the band needed a change, so they recruited Daniel Kohkemper in the bass guitar and Freddy Sánchez in the drums. This was a critical step to change their current sound into a better, faster, more aggressive and ruthless Thrash/Death sound as a result of the combined influences of the band mates. .. .. So, with this new sound Eternal took a new place when they started to win some competitions, to have more crowded gigs, playing outside the capital city, and finally leading to their first recording. .. .. Eternal recorded its first material in March 2007, the self-titled EP which contains their first 4 recorded tracks that helped the band gain more recognition among the local metal fans. The band constant live shows displayed somewhat more energy and connection with the people than other local bands in the genre, and this was one of the critical factors for the realization of the next steps. .. .. There were two events in 2008 that left a landmark in their young career, which were the recording of their first professional self released album and playing in the opening act for the German cult Thrash Metal band Sodom. Both events occurred in September that year. .. .. Playing along with one of the most respectable bands in the metal world like Sodom was quite an honor and having that enormous crowd in front was a very strong motivation to start recording their long time planned first album. .. .. Finally, after almost a year of hard work, they have self-released their first full length called "Seeds Of Evolution". This album contains 11 tracks full of energy and hatred: recorded, edited, mixed and mastered professionally just to make your fucking ears bleed. .. .. This album has been characterized with the aggressiveness and speed in the rhythm guitars, a prominent killer bass playing, a fast and well elaborated drumming, a faster virtuoso guitar soloing and a harsh high pitch growling vocalization. .. .. This opened more doors for the band to play outside of the country and to slowly being noticed abroad. Hopefully now there are more and better things to come! .. ..
