Os Eternal Death surgiram em Novembro de 2002, em Lamego, Portugal, fundados por André Lobão (Voz) e Luís Correia (Guitarras). Em Junho de 2003, Diana Ferreira (Baixo), Fernando Vicente (Guitarra) e Nuno Esteves (Bateria) completaram o line-up da banda. Foram compostos 5 temas. Em Fevereiro de 2004, a banda gravou e lançou a sua primeira e única demo, “Passion, Blood And Tears…”. Pouco tempo depois a banda separou-se. Em 2007, o projecto renasce com Luís Correia nas vozes, guitarra e baixo, acompanhado por Tiago Machado na bateria, com o intuito de regravar alguns dos temas da anterior demo e compor novo material. Em 2008, foram adicionados ao line-up da banda Fábio Amaro na voz e Hugo Carvalho no baixo. Algum tempo depois a banda lançou uma compilação com temas dos antigos ensaios (com o anterior line-up), "Raise Of Hell - The Rehearsal Tapes 2002-2004". Em 2009, Ricardo Chaves entrou para banda para tocar baixo. Hugo Carvalho abandonou a banda.

Eternal Death was born in Lamego, Portugal, in November 2002, originally formed by André Lobão (Vocals) and Luís Correia (Guitars) as a black metal band. In June of 2003, Diana Ferreira (Bass), Fernando Vicente (Guitars)and Nuno Esteves (Drums) joined the band. With this line-up the band worked on five songs. In February of 2004, the band recorded and released their first and only demo cd, “Passion, Blood And Tears…”. Some time after the band decided to split-up. In 2007, the project has reborn, with Luís Correia on vocals, guitars and bass, alongside with Tiago Machado on drums, to re-record some of the songs of the previous demo cd and write new material. In 2008, Fábio Amaro (Vocals) and Hugo Carvalho (Bass) joined the band.
A few time later, the band released a compilation with the tracks from the past rehearsals (with the previous line-up), entitled "Raise Of Hell - The Rehearsal Tapes 2002-2004". In 2009, Ricardo Chaves joined the band to play bass. Hugo Carvalho left the band.
