Eternal Element was founded by Jason (aka Dr. Rhythm) on drums and Sam (aka Slam) on bass, who began forming the band in September of 2006. Jason and Sam stumbled onto the idea of forming the group after an evening phone conversation. The two had played together for years in a church band at Clovis Hills Community Church and, until then, never knew they shared the same passion. Following that the band was able to track down Nate (aka Superman). His discovery came from networking within the community. Based on his brilliant abilities on guitars and keys, endless creativity, and true passion for playing music, Nate became the newest member of Eternal E. Shortly thereafter, at a weekend camping trip to Bass Lake, Brad (aka X), a Clovis Hills Community Church member and worship team leader, crossed paths with Sam who mentioned the group to him. With the same ambition and mission as Jason and Sam, Brad responded with “You tell me when and where and I’m there.” Sam immediately phoned Jason where they both determined that Brad was the critical component necessary to complete the driving energy of Eternal Element.
A year later EE was sorry to see on of our founding members, Jason, decide to leave. We wish him all the best in his new ventures. That left EE short a drummer! So off looking we went. But we didn't have to go far as we began considering good drummers within our own sphere of influence. After discussions with the band, it was clear who we would ask. No one other than Rob (aka the one arm "bandit")! he had filled in previously and done a bang up job. Pray for him, though! He has this shoulder injury that makes it, well let's just say, difficult to play (whiner!). ;-)
Eternal Element has played several local venues with performances at the Fresno Rescue Mission, a Kidney Disease charity event, the Clovis Community Neighborhood block party, Momentum 2008 and other local events. The group is working on expanding their exposure and reaching all walks of life through positive influential music. Each band member’s opinion counts and contributes to the unique sound of our Christian Rock genre. The group has a simple budgeted 5-cover song demo released with plans of releasing a brand new studio CD in the near future.
Eternal Element is committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, for all age groups regardless of social and / or economic standing, through our music, primarily by performing professional concerts and community events at venues where all are welcome and feel free to joyously praise Jesus through our music.
Psalm 95
O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
Psalm 100
A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations.
How's it going Eternal Element? I hope well, I just wanted to stop by and say hi and see what's up? We should play a show together in the future like old times, just let me know ok?
