Born in Oslo in Scorpio 1975, I grew up in the Highlands of Norway and was a part of the Highland black metal scene from the beginning with friends like Blasphemer, Punisher, Violator and Valfader.
I was there when the blaze was lit and did my part to torch the northern sky.
The concept of Eternity formed as Blasphemer and myself started rehearsing the material for the first In Silence in '92. After the Grishnack incidents Blasphemer was asked to join Mayhem which brought an end to In Silence. I started rehearsing my own material with my brother Raziel and got schooling in classical guitar.
Joined forces with Punisher and Tex Terror in '96 and formed Nuctemeron, bringing to life Punishers vision of old school thrash-metal, we recorded the '97 demo "Angel of Destruction".
Moved to Oslo and studied Theology, Philosophy, Folklore and Religious History at the University while forming the second In Silence with Blasphemer. We brought in people from bands such as Dimmu Borgir, Ddheimsgard and Gehenna and recorded the '99 demo "The Suicide Revolution" and secured a recording deal which we never used for anything.
Losing my mind over the piece of shit that is Oslo, I went into exile in the mountains of Norway to seek calm and start recording the first Eternity demo. In Subspecies Aeterna is a theoretical impossibility with the equipment I was using at the time, but still it has brought a cult following on the net. Pretentious to the extreme, "In Subspecies..." is a concept album aiming to reveal the Left Hand Path to Unity with the All.
Well aware that the sound was truly necro, I never tried too hard to secure a recording contract, but rather moved on to other things. Moving back to the Highlands I recorded "A Funeral for Knowledge" with Bark under tragic circumstances in the fall of 2003.
Rejoined forces with Punisher to ressurect Nuctemeron in 2004 and recorded the "Buried in Flesh" demo in the fall of the same year, then went on to record the "Serpent" in february 2005 which brought an end to the relationships of everyone involved with it.
In the ensuing solitude of the summer of 2005 I recorded To Become the Great Beast. Finally having the equipment to capture the sound I wanted, "the Great Beast" was completed and secured further progress.
Instead of turning to Malkuth and promoting "the Great Beast" as I should have done, I took a month off and then started recording the third Eternity release Bringer of the Fall. Musically turning from classical Norwegian Black Metal sound to BlackDeath Metal to capture the essence of the content. "Bringer of the Fall" was finished in june 2006.
Currently working on the fourth Eternity full-lenght recording Dreaming in our Blood which should be finished some time next year, and a four track recording Blacklight which will be released late summer of 2007.
