   About Ethan Sellers Band
The Ethan Sellers Band (ESB) is a high energy folk-rock quintet. We take songs with lyrics that are thoughtful enough for the coffeehouse set and infuse them with enough energy to get the pub crowd going, occasionally taking a slight detour into instrumental sections that you might call Celtic fusion. ESB began - and continues - as an expansion of my more folk-oriented acoustic gigs. Nathan Britsch signed on for bass duties after an impressive audition, and I recruited former GUT bandmate Tom Lloyd for the drum spot. After a few months, Tautologic alumna Becky Rule filled the violin spot and added her harmony vocal talents to the mix. Another member of Tautologic's family, Aaron Weistrop, joined a year later on electric guitar. We are now hard at work on the band's first CD, to be entitled Empty Steins and Stragglers.

Ethan:

We host a gerat acoustic PRO open mike at the Galway Tribes on Tuesdays. Acoustic jam bands, folk-adelic Celtic stuff - all sorts. Would love for you to come out sometime and jam with us. We start at 8pm. The Galway Tribes is located at 9680 Lincolnway Lane in Frankfort, IL.

We jam in the beer garden, outdoors, just like a tropical evening jammin somewhere else like Key West!

Hope you can make it out some Tuesday night!

pearly white and fish face
pearly white, had the whitest bite, his teeth were all shiny and out off site, and one day he went down to the docks, kickin the shit and the rocks.
there he met fish face wearing a fish taste, he said hey is there somewhere we can talk.
the fish face suspicious, said do you want to just do this, and he was eaten by pearly white's chomps

I went walking in down town chicago today and I saw a homeless man pissing on a wall next to an outdoor restaraunt. Everyone in the restaraunt pretended not to notice, but you could see the squirm, and you could hear their silent conversation they shared with each other through their eyes as loud as thunder. And i realized something. That homeless guy was not crazy, he just wanted to see uncomfortable people get sick and not want to eat their delicious expensive food that he will later have to dig out of the garbage cans out back to eat. more for him.

just a thought, maybe he was crazy

See you at Heartland next Sat.!
