To me good music is like a good friend. Like a good friend, music can be something that brings you joy and sadness, comfort and confrontation. And like a good friend, no two songs are alike, and every time you encounter a song you take away something totally different. It changes us and we take a deeper understanding of a structure, of a concept or of a person each time we encounter it.
And I decided to give something back to my good friend. I cast a pretty wide net. I listen to anything that makes me feel like doing something, be it laughing, crying, fighting or fucking. And I want to do whatever I can to pass that along.
