In a city as cosmopolitan as Vienna it is surprising there is no English language newspaper or magazine. Until now. Ether will be a combination of city magazine and expat resource with a strong emphasis on the arts. We will be targeting the 40,000 native-speaking community and the tens of thousands of employees in the countless number of international bodies whose working language is English.

We hope the magazine has something for everyone. We want to showcase people's work and talent and hopefully teach you something about the city you have been living in, however long you have been here. We also want Ether to be a community magazine and so feedback is welcome. Don't hesitate to contact me at katiebinns@ethermagazine.at. I look forward to hearing your opinions or hearing about any issues that you think affect part of the English-speaking community.

And don't forget to sign up to the mailing list! That way you will receive an email announcing the new issue that will be published at the beginning of every month.

Who I'd like to meet:

English speaking expats in Vienna and the rest of Austria, publishers, journalists, photographers, illustrators, advertisers and generally people who support our idea.
