'During the middle of Demonica's career I had been experimenting music on my own with different acquaintances and soon before Demonica's break up I released my first solo album as "Ether Drift". I have since then carried on to perform a debut show and am in the middle of making my follow-up album "The Negativity Story".'
After a lengthy incubation period, the long-awaited remix compilation of material from Nihil Obstat's "No End In Sight" (released through Grundale Records) now emerges from the depths of the unconscious psyche. Featuring remixes by REACHING (who also runs Dirgehead Distribution), The Jesus Fish Experience, MLF, Smetnja, and Nihil Obstat. "This collection is sure to please fans of noise, industrialized post-rock, power electronics, and subversive beats."
The debut album by The Jesus Fish Experience for Argali Records, "Songs Of Protest, War, & Hate" is the overall sound and experience of Interesting Specimen's continued exploration of claustrophobic soundscapes, equally inspired by early post-rock, industrial, and krautrock pioneers. Despite being uneasy listening, it is also simultaneously fascinating and powerful. Also featuring, at points, the talents of Ether Drift, Rusted Spheres, and Terra Engine.
