Ethos has been together for about four years. We are based out of Brevard, NC, land of the waterfalls. It's truly a blessing how supportive our community has been. Jordan Street Cafe has played a big part in providing Ethos with a cool scene to share our art, always a good time when we jam out there. We consider our sound to be Reggae/Rock/Ska combination, kinda like Sublime, 311, Pepper, Sublime. The band's style is constantly evolving and growing to new levels of tightness, due to the dedicated core members of the band: Matt Gardner, Marshall Funderburk, Rutledge Leland, Dave Ashworth, & Daric Smith. Matt Gardner & Daric Smith have been playing music together as far back as 1996 with their band Rift. Daric smith & Rutledge Leland began jammin in 2001 with their band "The Difference" til 2003. Marshall Funderburk joined Matt Gardner, Dave Ashworth, & Daric Smith back in 2005 adding his amazing skill and stamina at holding down the tight grooves on the drums. We alternate between various guest artist like Jon Marrow, Louis Clark, Paul Jones, & Danial Chambo. We have currently been jammin out in Asheville developing our fan base by jammin at Wildwing Cafe and doing various collaborations with Asheville's local reggae scene at Stella Blue and The Emerald Lounge. Much love for checking out our page, we look forward ta seeing you out at our shows!

We are thrilled to announce Midnite will be playing their only two east-coast shows in the month of April at The Grey Eagle in Asheville, NC. Arguably the best live reggae band around, Midnite has sold out every show they've played in Asheville since 2005. We strongly encourage you to pick up your tickets in advance so you can be a part of the festivities.
Click the below poster for additional information about Midnite's back-to-back nights at The Grey Eagle.
