Different tastes. I grew up with Don Bluth and Walt Disney animated films, which still have a place in my heart. I enjoy certain slasher horror films (A Nightmare on Elm Street) and zombie films (Night of the Living Dead, 28 Days Later), but I also enjoy horror films that has little graphic violence or gore (anything by Hitchcock or more recent films like Skeleton Key). Comedy (Airplane, A Funny Thing Happened On the Way To The Forum, Bill and Ted, Parenthood, Death at a Funeral, Monty Pyhton). Science Fiction and Fantasy films can be cool, especially if I grew up watching them (Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, Alien, Ice Pirates, Terminator, Last Unicorn, Legend).
