My passions are good parenting, good books, great movies and amazing music. I am interested in being able to look myself in the mirror and be proud of who I see.
My guilty pleasures are old 30's gangster movies, anything Hitchcock, smoky and seedy noir films and cheesy 80's b-movies.
I enjoy reliving my childhood vicariously through my children and I expect to be awed by life at least once a day.

About me:
Living in Richardson with my brilliant 10 year old son Jacob, my adorable and very busy 2 year old Jackson Riley, and the complete opposite of myself, adoring and tolerant of my idiosyncrasies, love of my life, Roger, who has also given me two of the coolest stepkids I could have ever asked for. We are expecting one more in late September, early October and her name will Madalyn Nicole Meshell, better known to family already as Lil' Maddie and by Roger as M&M. I read, write, watch movies, listen to music, all compulsively and probably at the expense of my undivided attention a lot of the time. The people who love me would probably say I'm a little bit of a snob when it comes to those things. I am passionate (!!!) about everything from Play-Doh to politics, I love being a mother, I love to learn and I love it even more when others learn from me. It makes me feel relevant and necessary. I think more people should take stock in their intellect. If there is anything I know to be true, it's that ignorance is dangerous.
Who I'd like to meet: People with something to say. People who know what they believe. People who know that tacky can be beautiful, noise can be melodious and chaos can be intentional. Specifically interested in meeting someone who thinks I am brilliant in every way. I need several people like that in my life.

We are goin to houston my best friend's daughter is havin her 15teen....so we will be down there for a while....being with tha kids and just doin stuff is goin to be nice not havin to get up and go to work for a lil bit....
