Ethan Tucker may only be in his early 20s, but he has already made a big name for himself in musical circles throughout the U.S. The Olympia, Washington-born singer-songwriter has been performing regularly since the age of 16 at various venues and festivals throughout the Northwest and various other parts of the U.S. as well as Montego Bay, Jamaica. Although primarily a solo artist Tucker also performs with his band The Grassroots All-Stars (currently on hiatus), which he founded in 2008 in Twin Falls, ID where he currently resides. His new album "Lost Between," was released in November of 2010 with promotional touring to follow. "Lost Between" is his first official album release since his self released CD "Take Me to the Mountains" which he released at the age of seventeen. "He's an amazing talent; no doubt about it! Ethan has such tremendous energy and control and stage presence when he performs; it's really pretty incredible what he does in front of an audience!" says restaurant owner Tom Nickel. Tucker's soulful repertoire effortlessly and seamlessly incorporates multiple genres such as jazz, blues, folk, and reggae. "I've seen Ethan perform in concert four times now, and his energy and enthusiasm and love for what he does as a musician onstage is always very much in evidence," said Sun Valley Idaho's resident music critic John Pluntze. Tucker has shared the stage with many great acts including Grammy Award winning acts Steve Miller, Michael Rose, Robert Randolph, and up and coming artists Zee Avi, Cas Haley, Josh Heinrichs, Taj Weekes and Adowa, Richie Spice, John Craigie, and many others. The title track from his album "Take Me to the Mountains" is featured on the 2010 film "Deeper" from Teton Gravity Research (2010).
