eUd is the meeting between two musicians experienced to improvisation, guitar performer and sound producer Gilles Deles and trombone player Thomas Boudineau. Their meeting happened on stage for an ANGIL AND THE HIDDENTRACKS performance at La Chapelle, Toulouse, October 2004. We try to improvise music with the less filters we can, with no intentions or concepts (wich is quite a concept, already....) All we do is live performances, for the recordings as for the shows. We use live samplers and effects. eUd#1 has been recorded at Eguzon, in a beatifull and lost valley, close to the lake were the pictures has been taken. eUd#2 has been recorded with Marie Legendre, playing viola, at her house in Saint-Auvent, a very small village, during winter 2005, in December. eUd#3 is the result of a three days party for Thomas's birthday, in Eguzon. We decided to perform short pieces with objects around us. Organic music. Sensuality. Kindness. Tenderness. Lyricism. Violent lyricism. Poetry. Landscapes. Faces. Everything we do is the invisible breathes of a folk song. Gilles Deles also plays solo as LUNT. He works as sound producer for UNIQUE RECORDS [ANGIL, HALF ASLEEP, MELATONINE, THE JOHN VENTURE...] Thomas Boudineau also plays trombone with ANGIL, THE JOHN VENTURE, and Le Chant des Baleines (a solo trombone work).
