The Eugene Highlanders is one of the oldest pipe bands in Oregon and is still to this day lead by pipe major Hector Smith who started the group back in 1953. That also makes Hector the longest standing pipe major in America. Though the band is constantly changing shape there are always enough members to put on a show that you will remember. The band is composed of pipers, drummers, and dancers and perform for all sorts of events.
