This is the official Myspace page for New York City singer/songwriter Eugene Ruffolo.
Eugene wears many hats. He is foremost a singer, but also and songwriter, guitarist, producer and overall heck of a nice guy. In his years kicking around the music biz, he's been fortunate enough to share the stage with artists as diverse as Tony Bennett, Garth Brooks, Livingston Taylor, and Run DMC, to name a few. Working as a studio musician in the Big Apple he's sung, written, played on and produced countless national advertising campaigns.
He routinely lends his talents to the recording projects of other artitsts, and has been active in the childrens's music world as well, recording several records and winning the sought after "Parent's Choice" award. He plays and tours regularly. Check him out sometime. Better yet..buy a CD or 2... for more info-take a look at www.eugeneruffolo.com or eugeneruffolo.nl

Eugene, What a pleasure meeting you at Kerrville. I've listened to your songs and they all are beautiful sung so beautifully. You draw me in all the way buddy. I'm proud to say we share Sicilian blood and I love being reconnected to that through music and friendship. I have your dvd and the Yarrow dvd is almost finished burning so if you can forward me an address I'll get them to you immediately. Love, Shep
Just wanted to say publically what I've said to you privately. I've been around great singers all my life and I don't usually hear "folk" singers that impress me. You are one of the few exceptions. You have wonderful quality and control. Just a truly great voice. I am so happy I stumbled into you at Folk Alliance.
I see you are heading off to Europe. Well, perhaps someday we can get you to tour the Southeast US.
Good luck in your travels and keep that lovely instrument healthy!
Hello Eugene Just want to tell you that our reviewer Mats Palmquist gave your album our highest rate - "Lira gillar" (Lira loves) in last issue of Lira (#1 2008). Warmest Per / Lira
