Eugene Carthen and his band deliver a driving Blues, R&B, Funk, and Jazz style of music.The band covers various artist and bands from the above mentioed genre, and several originals. Eugene has been singing since the age of four years old, in gospel music through high school, and then in various R&B groups since then. Eugene runs a blues jam every Wednesday night at Herb's at 2057 Larimer Denver,Co. My band has played at several venues around Denver, Co. :such as Lincoln's Roadhouse, Ziggies Saloon, Herb's Bar, The Midtown Beat, The Q Blues & Jazz Lounge, Effin's, El Chapultpec and Herman's Hideaway. Eugene has performed on stage with various national and local artist, such as; Kenny Neal, Joe Moss, Sammy Mayfield, Stanley Milton, David Booker, The Erica Brown Band, Larry Mcray, Todd Tijerina Band, Kenny Perkins And The Nightshift, AOA, Jack Hadley, Lil' Dave Thompson, The Delta Sonics, David Treanor, and Frank Selman.
