The reason I chose to go as a cat (several halloweens) was because of the fact I like cats, and think it is lame that there are no male cat costumes out there for men (well there are, but not the sleek style like the broadway cats). So I decided to go for it. The second year I wore the getup I met a woman that became a big part of my life for a year, until she had to move away. I wore the one in the picture to ren faire, got invited into several of the parades that run through the faire.

i was giving your style some thought. i thinnk maybe you're trying to dress it up too much maybe? for some reason, when i think about what i'd like to see, the guy would be dressed more casually. perhaps a sweater, hoodie, polo shirt, even a t-shirt paired with shorts and a skin colored hose. pair that with a "clunkier" kind of shoe, like a sneaker or deck shoe kinda thing, and i think it would work. wearing with loafers seems a bit odd because of the shorts and, to me, the shoes don't seem to be made for that look. i dunno if i'm making sense.

get a photo with a Hooters girl in each arm, while I wear hosiery
