About me:

I'm a science fiction, fantasy, horror, and children's lit. writer and an editor.

My short story collection, Returning My Sister's Face: And Other Far Eastern Tales of Whimsy and Malice, debuted March, 2009, from Norilana Books (click to see the table of contents and gorgeous cover art by Ahyicodae).

Publication highlights: Stories in Realms of Fantasy, Interzone, Cricket, Cicada, Fantasy Magazine, Baen's Universe, and Orson Scott Card's InterGalactic Medicine Show; podcasts Escape Pod, PodCastle, and Pseudopod; and anthologies Best New Fantasy (Prime), Magic in the Mirrorstone (Mirrorstone), Heroes In Training (DAW), and Best New Romantic Fantasy 2 (Juno). My articles and and interviews have appeared in Strange Horizons, Fantasy Magazine, the Internet Review of Science Fiction, Writing-World, and Absolute Write. I also co-authored a Psychology textbook with my advisor when I was in graduate school, published by Allyn & Bacon.

Misc. Details: My very fantastic agent is William Reiss of John Hawkins and Associates, Inc. I'm an active member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA). And I have a Master of Arts degree in Developmental Psychology. I'm also very happily married, and I have a pet skunk.

Visit my nifty website, EugieFoster.com, to see my complete bibliography and forthcoming publications. And check out my LiveJournal blog to see what I'm thinking about/writing/working on now.

We are proud to present Gabriel’s Honor, the new novel by Kevin Duffield.

It is the end of the world, at least as far as Gabriel was concerned. Only a knight for a few months and he already finds himself the center of a conspiracy which threatens the kingdom he swore to protect, as well as his own life.

Exiled for his own safety, Sir Gabriel travels with three other knights to a set of islands on a mission of diplomacy. They arrive in a land filled with plenty of conspiracies of its own. It is a place of wealth and prosperity with a dark, hidden secret even the people of the islands are unaware of. A legendary king, thousands of years old, lives among the island people, plotting a terrible revenge.

Stumbling on to the nature of this secret, Sir Gabriel and his fellow knights join forces with the local elves, who are being hunted to extinction. What is at stake is the survival of not only the world, but existence itself.

But how can four knights and a handful of elves stand against a being powerful enough to murder gods?
