Books
I was completely captivated by James O'Barr's The Crow complete paperback. If you havent read it yet.. you need to. Both words and art express true sad and vengeful emotions one can easily relate with and you can feel the bursting pain throughout each page of the book. What is love?
I've enjoyed other books as well but not lately. My mind is tangled up, I can't find enough peace to enjoy a book. The Crow remains my favorite for its uniqueness and perhaps its strong connection to my own dreary life.

My mother. Though I hardly see her, I know she's out there fighting her battles still.
I may never understand where the strength comes from but sometimes Im convinced the answer isnt far from my own flesh and blood.

I've been drawing comic art since the day I turned 18, striving to be the best I can be without having to join an army. I dig this job and it's almost hard to call it a job because it is my passion. However, it did take many years of hard work and countless sacrifices for it to become that way. No kiddin'. It's nothing near perfect, but it balances out. (sometimes)
As some of you may know, or not lol, I am currently rockin' the comic collector card world, (aka sketch cards), pushing it to the limit, giving it everything I got, every single day and showing the world that anything is possible no matter how small the canvas. ;-] My big journey began with Marvel Masterpieces 2007, where i knocked out 200 consistent card drawings in which was received with great appreciation by all the rockin' fans, collectors and dealers. Since then, I jumped on Marvel's 2nd MP card set as a guest artist and a few others, solidifying my involvement in the card world. It's not all cards in my basket, though. I've done quite few comic book jobs where my true abilities remained dormant. One of my serious goals is to release a very special rockin' comic book title real soon, along with it's own line of figures I'll be sculpting of course!
I'm a very independent fella and I also have a brain. lol. If I can't live it the way I want to live it, then there's no point for me to go on. Makes sense doesn't it?
I love helping brothers and sisters out with their art work when I have the time to spare and always enjoy looking at art from all around, no matter the level of skill/ability or whatever you want to call it. I appreciate passionate art.

As far as relationships go, I honestly don't think I will ever be married, ever have a girlfriend or ever fall in love again. It's been long since I felt the love of another and I don't quite remember what that's like anymore. But I do remember very well what it feels like to hurt from having the one you loved break your heart, pride and soul. Thus, I'd rather keep my love amnesia intact and live out the rest of my life deprived of love and fight through like a warrior of light, passion and endurance. Just giving it my best is all I care about. And doing what makes me happy is something I'd die for.
