Euphorya est un groupe de métal extrême originaire de Mâcon (71) et Bourg-en-Bresse (01). Formé en 2006 en tant que one-man-band sous le contrôle de m.Kekchoz, les première compositions s'articulaient autour d'un deathcore basique, efficace et sans prétention. Ce n'est qu'en 2007, avec la sortie de la troisième démo "Pollen" qu'Euphorya s'engagea vers un style plus extrême, mêlant le black-metal au death, au doom et au hardcore. Le premier album "Nihil" est sorti le 25 février 2008, suite à cette sortie, un line-up s'est formé pour pouvoir défendre ce premier opus sur scène. Rafnagurr (Batterie - Elhaz) et Zero (Basse) allaient donc jouer aux cotés de m.Kekchoz et Euphorya devint un vrai groupe. Sîn a intégrera Euphorya quelques temps plus tard à la seconde guitare !
2009 marque la sortie d'une compilation, "Infiniti" qui regroupe des morceaux issus des trois première démo et de Nihil réenregistrées (+ un morceau inédit et une reprise sur la version digitale). Après celà, période de trouble pour Euphorya. Le second album terminé, le groupe change de nom pour "VVVV". En effet, Euphorya a toujours été le projet de m.Kekchoz, Ce second album ne correspondait plus à la vision première d'Euphorya. VVVV était donc né. Oui mais voilà, VVVV devient un duo (Zero et Sîn quittent le groupe d'une façon bien peu respectable). m.Kekchoz ayant toujours cette envie de composer fit renaître Euphorya en décembre 2009. Une nouvelle démo sort en janvier 2010 (des titres prévus à l'origine pour un tout autre projet), avec un style assez différent qui ne sera qu'une petite parenthèse.
m.Kekchoz se met donc à travailler sur de nouvelles compos qui deviendront le deuxième album d'Euphorya.
