Euricka is New Orleans’s first female R&B and Hip-Hop Solo Artist to hold the Crescent City down on the music industry map. As the self-proclaimed originator of the unique R&B Bounce sound, Euricka has been on the scene gaining fans all over the globe, with performances in Japan and Germany, as well as the United States. Having recently completed her 2009 "Diva Life" tour within the Eastern and Southern regions, Euricka successfully ended on a high note and has many blessings to be thankful for. Groomed at an early age while growing up in the Calliope Projects, one of the toughest housing developments in New Orleans, Euricka's talents were honed in an effort to keep her off of the streets and out of trouble. She prides most of her energetic, gutsy style on delivering past experiences of living in a latch-key environment with her single mother and five siblings. Euricka's strong vocals and no nonsense stage presence were first nurtured while singing in daily church services. Her grandmother, an Ordained Minister, encouraged Euricka and her siblings to attend Bible Study with hopes of protecting them from ongoing gang violence that had plagued their community. Euricka’s determination and will-power to live out her dreams and not fall victim to the streets is what kept and continues to keep her striving to positively impact the music industry and her community as well. Euricka’s strong and independent stage presence has electrified crowds all over the world, commanding a following of loyal fans from every walk of life. She delivers performances that are reminiscent of being in a church service, while maintaining an edgy Diva-like persona, giving her fans a sneak-peek into where she has come from and where she is going. This singing sensation has now gained respect in the Hip-Hop community with her music and likeness appearing in countless Hood DVDs and mix tapes. In 2008, Euricka took home the Underground Music Award for Best R&B Female Artist and was honored with a first place win at the Annual New York A&R Power Summit. She's an incredible talent with limitless abilities in Pop, Hip-Hop, Rap and R&B. This natural beauty has said, “Neither money nor looks will determine the outcome of my career. It will be my love for music and determination that will secure my place in this industry."
