About me:

WELCOME!

Welcome to the Myspace of Eurodanceweb.net, the official website of the one and only song contest dedicated to dance music from Europe and the Mediterranean Area.

Eurodanceweb is a website created with the aim of promoting dance productions in local languages or with a strong link to their National culture.

Every year a panel of disc jockeys and journalists monitors the European and Mediterranean dance scene and then selects the best track from every Country.

Two annual charts are then published: a Readers' Poll and a chart compiled by a professional jury.

2009 AWARD

Within the end of August a brand new website of the Eurodanceweb project will be lanched, with the complete and official list of songs competing for the 2009 Award. If you are a dance artist living in Europe or the Mediterranean Area and wish to represent your Country, please do not hesitate to send your productions to the following e-mail address: eurodanceweb@gmail.com!

2008 AWARD

The German dance act Alex C feat. Yass wins the eight edition of the Eurodanceweb Award with the song "Doktorspiele"! The project was created in 2007 by the producer Alex Christensen, who in the past co-worked with big names of the international dance scene such as Right Said Fred, ATC, Rollergirl and many others. The winning song is taken from the debut album "Euphorie" released at the beginning of the year almost all over Europe, which features 14 songs performed in German, English and Spanish. More than 25.000 people voted on the Online Poll and lected Romania's "Your Love Is High" sung by Mihai Traistariu as their favourite track.
