Bio:

Europica is a bass player from the UK who started to play at the age of 24. His first band was a rock outfit called Motorboat who played their original songs around Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Bedfordshire in the 80's. Their claim to fame was having a gig review read by John Peel on his radio show, which lead to having their gigs plugged by him too. The 90's saw Pete form three bands with friends. "Handy", "The Nightshift" and "Chicken Inspectors", (the name came from a Daffy Duck cartoon). The latter gained local media attention and a strong following wherever they played. Gigging in and out of town their highlight was playing the Bedfordshire Millennium Festival in the beautiful grounds of Shuttleworth House. Now working in his studio, here he showcases all of his compositions, ranging from Classical to Jazz, Reggae, Dub, and Euro Trance. There are some collaborations here too. "Some You Win, Some You Lose" features Dennis on Hammond Organ and Trumpet and Billy on Guitar and Drum Programing. "The Outbreak of Peace" features William on Synth and Hammond, with Dan on Lead and Rhythm Guitar and Rik on Rhythm Guitar. Rik guests on "Summer Dub" and "The Journey Home", playing rhythm guitar. Jason Didner features on "Will You Be My Brother" along with Ed Drury on synth. Also check out "F-Jam" at soundclick.com, where Pete plays bass guitar on other peoples tracks. Blues, Rock, Country and Pop are some of the genres he's covered. See the "song info" on exactly which ones. Here's the URL for F-Jam at Soundclick.....http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=325311. There are loads of great songs on the F-Jam page so check them out too. Most of the Reggae and all of the Trance tunes are Europica's solo works. "Freefall" was his first crack at an electronic dance tune and was liked by many. This spurd him on to continue in this genre, so he then started to delve into Trance. Enjoy the music here and if you'd like to post or become friends with Europica then please feel free to get intouch. Many thanks! ..
