They first named themselves"Yes Of Course" from the idea of the singer, Luca Celletti.I was enthralled by the idea of creating a band that could react, in an exclusive way,to any artistical and spectacular event,searching for spontaneity and costumes,ingredients which have always characterized the great epoch-making Bands. "Yes Of Course" were born under good auspicies and this meant the beginning of a journey that wouldn't stop due to the unavoidable obstacles reality places when it becomes a dream, and a dream turns real. Songs belonging to Rock Bands which left an eduring mark in time, such as "Dream On" or "One Way Street" played by "Yes Of Course" are still re-echoing within the walls of Roman pubs and clubs, ever since they were born as Tribute Band in 1993. The facts that caused various changes in the Line Up made it possible for "Yes Of Course" to settle down, until Luca set out to look for a better groove, getting inspired by the undying and always more present and brilliant American Rock Band "AEROSMITH". In 1998 the name of the Band changes to "EUROSMITH". They identify themselves as Aerosmith Tribute Band, ranging in the old and new hits by the five bad guys from Boston, paying attention to every scenic and musical detail of the show. Since 1999 Eurosmith have got widely recognized even by specialized reviews. "We got in touch with the Aerosmith Italian Fan Club that showed its interest and availability and was willing to help. This brought to a mutual relationship and we got the chance to meet Aerosmith in person. The 12th of July 1999 a dream came true!!! This was the most important link of a chain of fundamental events that would consolidate the style and makings of the Tribute Band. THE FIRST RUNNING ITALIAN AEROSMITH TRIBUTE BAND Since 1997
La prima Band italiana che ha ideato e creato nel 1997 il Tributo alla grande Rock band americana Aerosmith.
L'idea nasce già nel 1993 con il progetto “Yes Of Course", band guidata da uno spirito forte, ambizioso e determinato, alla ricerca di quel “groove” in grado di ricreare la speciale alchimia musicale rock dei 70's. Nel tempo Yes Of Course arrivano a dare vita alle nuove e vissute magie degli AEROSMITH, la grande band americana nata nei primi anni ‘70 e che ancora oggi cavalca con maestria sulle ali del Rock'n'Roll.
Nel '97,dopo il cambio di nome in Eurosmith,la popolarità del gruppo inizia a crescere grazie ai loro numerosi e travolgenti live shows. Li guida con passione e determinazione Luca Celletti, fondatore già di Yes of Course e leader di indiscusso carisma e talento. Oltre ad avere la fortuna di assomigliare in modo "assolutamente naturale" al giovane Steven Tyler (nessun artifizio,solo qualche "mise" e qualche foulard..) ne possiede in modo innegabile la stessa grinta e la stessa prorompente vitalità, con una timbrica vocale da confondere con l'originale. Luca si muove sul palco e tra il pubblico con maestria, riuscendo a coinvolgere anche il più distratto degli spettatori e trasformando ogni concerto in un vero party in cui i classici degli Aerosmith si fondono con i nuovi successi, facendo vivere autentiche emozioni a vecchi e nuovi fans.
Tutto ciò non sfugge all' Aerosmith Fan Club Italiano,capitanato da Marinella Carraro, tramite il quale gli Eurosmith entrano in contatto diretto con la band americana il 12 luglio del ‘99, in occasione del loro concerto al Neapolis Live Festival. Già nel backstage Luca riesce a sorprendere Steven Tyler, il quale si dimostra così entusiasta e disponibile che permette a Luca di assistere al concerto direttamente dal palco. Ed è proprio durante lo show che qualcosa di grandioso e inaspettato accade: durante l’esecuzione del brano “Fallin’ in Love”, Luca e Steven si ritrovano a cantare nello stesso microfono per una strofa della canzone.
Luca e Steven Tyler si incontrano di nuovo il 23 marzo 2001 a Monaco, in occasione del "Meet & Greet", incontro promozionale organizzato per l’uscita di “Just Push Play”, il nuovo album degli Aerosmith, in occasione del quale Luca scrive anche una recensione del memorabile concerto a sorpresa tenuto dalla band americana il 24 marzo. L’articolo “Monaco, Babylon, 24 marzo 2001: AeroVangelo secondo Luca” viene pubblicato dalla giornalista Barbara Caserta sul magazine Hard. (anno 12, n°120, maggio 2001)
Luca incontra Steven e l’occasione viene immortalata da una foto in cui Steven mette in mostra il poster del concerto-tributo che gli Eurosmith terranno il 26 marzo successivo all’ HARD ROCK CAFÈ di Roma per festeggiare il compleanno di Mr.Tyler insieme agli Aerofans.
Sempre presso L’HARD ROCK CAFE’ di Roma, l’anno seguente gli Eurosmith girano il videoclip con la loro personale versione di Rag Doll, celebre hit degli Aerosmith, con l'incantevole partecipazione di Miss Conchi Sanchez Yus.
Nel frattempo, nel luglio '02, la band inglese “Toxic Twins - UK# 1 Tribute To Aerosmith”, propone a Luca di divenire il loro cantante ufficiale e così fino al dicembre 2004, Luca intraprende una nuova avventura artistica, dividendosi con entrambe le Bands tra Italia e Regno Unito,Irlanda Belgio ed Olanda.
Nel 2003 gli Eurosmith organizzano “MAKE IT”, Primo MEETING ITALIANO per i fans degli Aerosmith (ribattezzato successivamente “AEROMEETING” ) al JAILBREAK di Roma con la partecipazione di numerosi musicisti e ospiti on stage e la presenza di un folto pubblico proveniente da tutta Italia. L’evento si ripete nel 2004 al TRANSILVANIA LIVE di Milano
e nel 2006 a STAZIONE BIRRA di Roma, sempre con grande successo. La 3° edizione, “ROCKIN’ THE POINT”, vede la partecipazione oltre che di molti musicisti , anche di Miss Chiara Salvadè e Miss Simona Bocci come Pin Up dancers
Gli Eurosmith continuano progressivamente la loro crescita artistica, con performance nei locali e negli eventi più prestigiosi in tutta Italia.
Tra gli altri ricordiamo : Il Centrale del Foro Italico di Roma, Roma Live Festival, Tribute Night di Bagnoli, Festival dei Parchi -opening band per i Creedence Clearwater Revived -, Glamshot Festival “Estragon”, Carpe Diem Arre Beer Fest, Harley Davidson Italian Club, le edizioni del Rock City , Rolling Stone e Alcatraz di Milano, Stazione Birra, Jailbreak e Locanda Blues di Roma, Indian Saloon, Thunder Road, Transilvania Live, Corallo, Mephisto e molti altri.
Parallelamente anche la stampa nazionale si è interessata alla Band con articoli e segnalazioni su quotidiani come Il Messaggero, Il Tempo, la Stampa e magazine specializzati tra cui le riviste Hard e Rolling Stone.
Sono stati inoltre invitati alla trasmissione televisiva “Cloni” su Rai 3, dedicata al fenomeno delle tribute band
Dal 2005 la loro popolarità e il loro successo si estende ad ampio raggio anche ad li fuori dei confini nazionali : gli Eurosmith iniziano infatti una nuova avventura artistica in EUROPA , che porta la band più volte in GERMANIA AUSTRIA,SVIZZERA, UNGHERIA, INGHILTERRA, IRLANDA, SVEZIA, FINLANDIA,con richieste sempre più numerose che arrivano anche da MALTA, CROAZIA, EMIRATI ARABI e GIAPPONE.
Proprio nel 2008 Luca viene contattato dalla stessa famiglia Tallarico e da Giuseppe Pipicelli assessore al turismo e spettacolo di Cotronei, ( paese natio del nonno di Steven Tyler,Giovanni Tallarico) per collaborare all’ambizioso progetto per l’ avvio dell’iter per il conferimento della cittadinanza onoraria di Cotronei a Liv Tallarico (in arte Liv Tyler) e Steven Tallarico (in arte Steven Tyler
