Plus...I’ve worked with at least a dozen other extreamly talented musicians. They come and go, but always leave their mark.
Influences
I could list a ton of stuff from '50's - '70's.
Some discs I've listened to lately: Al Green, Nick Drake, The Highway Men, Sade, Jayhawks, Chris Issack, MC Solar, Pretenders, Jackson Browne, K.D Lang, Anna Fermin, The Perishers, Brandi Carlile, & Holly Williams. I like all kinds of stuff...however, usually the sadder the song, the more I like it. Which you can proabably tell from my music! Maybe in my life, those songs just seem more real.
Sounds Like
I've been compared to many different people. I just do what I do. So hey...you tell me.
Eva-- thanks for posting these two tracks! "Don't Be That Girl" definitely is catchy, and I love the vocal arrangements on the chorus. "One Phone Call" is gorgeous with its intricate dynamics and moody temperament. Can't wait to hear the rest!
