About me:

I'm a romantic, trusting man that appreciates life in all it's wonder and seek friends who are willing to try something new and explore them with me. By day I do consulting with businesses both large and small on social media and online networking. By night I work creatively with my hands and my mind. I am detail oriented, but I am also willing to jump right into the water and deal with details later. My friends and family describe me as being successful, intelligent, funny, creative, patient, and loving. I'm a person who takes what life gives me and tries to make the most out of it (most often with a smile or at least a grin). I work hard to improve the situations I find myself in. I have a sense of humor and sometimes find myself looking at a room full of people who are laughing at me. I also tend to be pushed in front of the pack as a leader, whether or not I volunteered for the position. I have a belief in being a gentleman with a sense of honesty, trust, moralty, ethics, compassion, love, and chivalry.

One of those creative writings of life

Serendipity my friend,
Yes Serenity, what do you want?
Nothing. As always. Yet I am concerned.
About what Serenity?
The way you try to live in search of the things you know you already have.
Serenity, that doesn't make sense.
Yes it does Serendipity. Why do you try so hard?
Because the things I have, no one besides me wants. There must be a flaw in my logic.... or simply a flaw in my design.
Could it not be that you are simply left alone, by chance?
It could be, but that would mean I accept fate telling me what I cannot have. I don't like waiting for my turn to come. I'd rather try, even if I fail.
Yet you fail to realize how much effort you waste Serendipity,
No Serenity, I realize my effort. It is no waste. I am trying to be someone better, not someone who waits.
Are some things not worth waiting for Serendipity?
Some are. I wish that I was worth waiting for. Yet it seems I have not reached a point that defines me as such, so I keep taking the next step. One after another, until I am something worth wanting.
But Serendipity, you are wanted.
I know Serenity. I know. Thats what keeps me moving.

Who I'd like to meet:

I am looking to establish some new friends to help explore life. I’m looking for someone special (and yes, there are some very special people in my life), but willing to wait for the right time and the right person. I enjoy being with individuals who can handle a wide variety of places ranging from quiet weekends camping in a tent and rowing a canoe, corporate parties where the jokes may be funny and the food is good, night clubs where the music is loud and the crowd is moving, and on unexpected weekend trips to wherever life takes you. I would like to find someone who doesn't give up and who keeps a smile when life is horrible, dwelling on past mistakes or current hardships doesn't provide any solutions. I'm looking to find friends who can enjoy a peaceful night one-on-one or with other friends. Sound interesting? Need a good time or a good laugh? Just say hi and introduce yourself.

What is something that people are surprised to find out about you?

That I'm honest, very deep thinking, have an oddly insane creative side, a very deep sense of humour (sometimes dark), and that I like to write poetry. You can check out my poetry @ http://www.trueloveofcoffee.com

If you could have a dinner party and invite any 4 people, dead or alive, who'd be coming?

Robert Deniro would be a great choice, because he's an interesting actor and man of various history. My sister, because she knows me well enough to discuss nearly anything and occasionally prod me into taking action if I hesitate. Some complete stranger randomly chosen, so I could have an interesting conversation about something I'm clueless on. Perhaps a slightly intoxicated me... in addition to the completely sober one so I can dare myself to express my deepest thoughts (and assist myself in helping everyone laugh at me).

Where are your local haunts?

Beth's, Nuemos, Noc Noc, The ShowBox, The Vogue, Mercury, Belltown, Pioneer Square, various little diners (give me a band, some conversation, or dancing and I'm there)

What kind of person are you attracted to?

Creative souls, beautiful within and without. People who are willing to be everything they need to be without hiding who they are.

My radio dial is usually tuned to: 90.3 FM or NPR

If I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life, it would be:

Coffee and chocolate (it's the same type of food, I swear)
