Evangelist is a band in the middle of a transition with only one original member left in the band.
In the time the band has existed, it has gone through various changes influenced heavily by the personalities in the band. The newest incarnation of Evangelist is one of stark personality differences that has one goal: writing quality songs that everyone in the band enjoys.
The influences of the band are wide, with each member bringing in vastly different musical tastes and perspectives.

Because sheer number of assumptions leveled at us, it must be vehemently stated that:

Evangelist is not a Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Satanic, Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, Shinto, Pagan, Confucianists, or Zoroastrian band. There is not a religious belief (or lack thereof) that encompasses the band as a whole. When addressing religion in our lyrics, the views espoused are best described as agnostic. We, unlike some metal bands out there, are not out to attack religion. At the same time, we also do not sugarcoat religious hypocrisy and/or atrocities.
