PRESS RELEASE: Fourteen year-old Evan Henzi caught the eyes and ears of music industry icons after working briefly as an actor. During the early 2000s, Evan joined his cousin Darian Weiss in the movie, “Dangerous Love of Alfie Ziegman,” and shot commercials for Burger King and Mission Renaissance Art Studio.
Evan has entertained audiences at the Young Artist Awards, charity events, Christmas programs, school shows and numerous San Fernando Valley singing venues. Impressed with Evan’s abilities, Robert Marcucci, the man who discovered Frankie Avalon and Fabian, introduced the young singer to famed coach Seth Riggs whose clients have included Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey and Stevie Wonder. Riggs referral led Evan to his first pro recording session as one of the lead singers for the group The Sugar Beats (the same group that launched Jesse McCartney’s career). Evan currently coaches with Riggs’ daughter Kathleen. Grammy Award-winning producer Michael Jay is also helping Henzi.
