The vessel is specially equipped to hold large groups of people (and all the extra bass bins we can squeeze on). Her name is The Dutch Master and she be a mighty fine boat too! It's going to be a ridiculously fun rinse up. However, if you think you can get away with being remotely serious and/or cool at this party - ye be mistaken. The Braindrop Boat Rave is fancy dress: Pirate's from the 80's. Arrgh...better get thinkin what ye gonna wear. This may mean music and art of substance can get press again- happy new year all the best from Vegas. A Christmas Gift to Indie Rock William Wheaton's Christmas Gift to Indie Rock... Body: American Apparel is now down to $1.88 a share. Last year it was $18.00. The curious thing- I noticed it and wondered a little bit....the L.A. Times had Carla Hall, who worked on the Pellicano trial, covering Charney's sexual harassment suits- she works on mob and business crime type stuff... I've heard something else about this from someone connected to Pellicano matters. Visit www. freenicherie. com to get a little back story- I was involved with the Nicherie thing a little bit. What I heard from a white collar criminal tied to Daniel Nicherie about Charney is that there was something illegal involving furs, when Dov Charney was very young. He told me to check Charney's geneaology, records on his great-grandfather for a "syndicate" background. If you Google "Dov Charney, Hustler" you'll find some intersting things in that direction. Even if not, bussines crime allegations and sexual harassment, plus immigration problems on his work force, are pilling up quickly. Of course, for litigation that size private investigators will be dredging his background information, his garbage, following him, etc. A word to the wise, a gift for indie rock from William Wheaton for the holiday season-prepare for the worst. When the publications fall and disappear, so will the bands. Vice, Onion, Arthur-are all financialy controlled by American Apparel. They made you "famous".
