Tania Evans is a multi Gold and Platinum Disc award and winning singer who rose to fame with her smash hit No. 1 “Mr Vain” with Culture Beat in the early 90’s, which not only stormed to the U.S. top 20, but with a sales totalling 2 million, brings Tania’s sales total to 7 million, and led to the prestigious RSH Gold award in two categories, along with Echo, Bravo, and an award at the U.S. Winter Music Dance Conference.


Born in London of Jamaican heritage, Tania’s influences range through Reggae, Jazz, Rock and Funk, and take a dynamic path through pop and underground dance music.


Her endless talents as a writer, and rich soulful vocals led to subsequent releases including "Got to Get it", "World in Your Hands", "Inside Out" and "Take Me Away", including tracks on two albums "Serenity" and "Inside Out".


Tania’s stand-out vocals lead to numerous guest appearances on albums for prominent artists.After leaving Culture Beat she wrote and released "Prisoner Of Love" accompanied by a stunning video available on MTV. Tania’s prestigious UK appearances include notorious venues such as London’s Jazz Cafe, Brixton Academy, Fairfields Hall (playing Aretha Franklin in ‘The Black Heroes Hall of Fame’ tribute) and Forum alongside stars such as Neneh Cherry, Nick Berry, The James Taylor Quartet and Philadelphia Bluntz.


One of the highlights of Tania’s string of successes was opening four of Michael Jackson’s shows on the ‘Dangerous’ tour. Globally she has toured extensively, and performs a stunning range of hit singles and albums, whilst remaining integral to the UK dance scene writing and evolving her skills as a unique vocal talent.

Following her work in 90’s dance and pop music, Tania released a house track "Strength to Carry on (come into my life". In addition to her already exceptional body of work, she is currently studying piano whilst working on a new album, featuring collaborations with dance music producers both in the UK (Mac & Taylor) and abroad.
