Led by drummer Mike Buck and guitar slinger / singer Eve Monsees, Eve and the Exiles formed in 2002. With original members Grady Pinkerton (guitar) and Speedy Sparks (bass) the band cut their self-titled, debut album in 2004 at Fort Horton Studios which was released on the independent Serpent label.
After reforming the band with Pat Collins on bass (LeRoi Brothers), Homer Henderson on guitar and vocals and Donna Pearl on maracas and vocals (Naughty Ones, Homer Henderson) Eve and the Exiles have just released a new CD entitled "Blow Your Mind." Recorded on 2" tape at the Sweat Box, the new album jumps out of the speakers in all its garage rock glory.

The Society of Dancing Crones presents In The Spirit of Stella with lili and walter, Regan Brown, Dana Mcbride, and Thom the World Poet. The show is in honor of the memory of Stella Boes, red-headed, dancing waitress of the Carousel Lounge. The Society spits on ageism and holds a belief in old women dancing as its first article of faith. lili and walter will be singing 'Crone Song' from their new self-titled cd. Margaret Moser of the Austin Chronicle recently praised this record: 'rootsy instrumentation...denim-soft originals...gorgeous traditionals.' lili li, the producer of the show, is in early perimenopause and looks forward to being a dancing crone.
