We're living in an interesting time. Where art was once purchased and prized among supporters, our works have now become fragmented and intangible. We have no museums to remember today's legends, and only a dying industry unable to maintain them. When empires fall, it is always the young and rebellious who take the reins. Evelynn is on the forefront of this revolution, eager to breathe life into the music industry and recapture what it means to be a band... Evelynn was congregated by singer/songwriter Arpan Patel and guitarist Steve Williams in late April, 2010. Having already established themselves in the Chicagoland area as veterans of the scene, the two have begun building a new sound in a city brimming with musical history. Through their aggressive and melodic compositions Evenlynn looks to instill listeners with a feeling of hope in even the most trying of times... Brick by brick Evelynn is laying the foundation for a new era in experimental music. Amongst a ruble graveyard filled with the delusional and uninspired, stay with us as we lay our first brick until we stand on the tallest tower.
