Spin Let It Out Raindrops - Live @ modified Arts, Phoenix AZ
Evening District is a collection of musicians from all different musical backgrounds. Joshua and Chris met in high school and played as Easedrop for three years before Joshua moved to San Francisco in 2003. He then met Mike a couple years later there and began working with him and playing shows in the Bay Area. Things happened and Mike moved back to LA where he then got married and moved to Phoenix funny enough. After hearing this Joshua also moved back to Phoenix where he brought back Chris on bass. The project began at the start of 2008 with Mike, Chris and Joshua working on some new songs, and reworking old standards. Not long after, actually some time beforethe finalization of the lineup, the band was off and booking local shows. Curt came along a couple months later and really rounded out the lineup.
If you had to sum up the sound, direction, or influences of the Evening District...you couldn't...so we won't even try.
Mike said once, "we do not have dreams to rule the world of music...for now they are just plans...".
