The outside perimeter of Heritage Woods bled right into Gardner Woods.
It was only a matter of time before music was made. With a harmony acoustic and a miniature trampoline in place of a bass drum the groundwork was laid. Then came college and guerilla-style dorm room performances. Ways were rifted and re-connected, on I-40 of all places.
St. Louis seemed like a great place to stop for lunch, and a bass player was added. Moving through Southern Utah provided most of the lyrical content for the first EP. Thumbing through old notebooks while eating ribs and cornbread allowed a discourse that unexpectedly produced a name for this westerly motion. Speeding through redwoods and strip malls, eventually the Pacific Ocean was in sight. And it seemed like as good a place as any to stop and dig in the old heels, as they say. A turn north, and many microclimates later
a series of bridges stitched water to sky. The place was San Francisco, and with its chilly disposition and unpredictable warm spells, it seemed like the perfect place to build a myth, if only backwards.
