About me: "Evening With Poets" is an annual event held in the Stephens Library at Hazard Community and Technical College. The event takes place every spring, usually in April. It celebrates the release of HCTC's literary magazine Kudzu, which can be picked up for free at the event. Everyone is invited to Evening With Poets, and everyone from all age groups is welcome to attend. The event will start at 6:30 p.m. Come out and bring as many people as you want, the event is free! Professional poets and local writers will both be reading from their collections. However, in order to read at the event, you have to be published in Kudzu. This year's featured poet is Mitchell L. H. Douglas.
On the day after the event the "Spring Writer's Conference" is held. This annual conference is also free and there's no advanced registration! On this day, you can come and participate in classes held and taught by professional writers. These classes give the opportunity to work in depth with professionals for free. This year's workshop leaders include: Mitchell L. H. Douglas, CS Johnson, and Gurney Norman. The writing workshops will be held simultaneously at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.

Thanks For The Add. Its Good To Know There Is Such A Group Within Kentucky. Particularly This Area. I Myself Had Never Heard Of It. Talk To You Soon Hmm?
I am in a see of bliss, learning there is a Poet comittee in or at least around eastern Kentucky. I would love to know more about this gourp, or even better how you found your way to my twisted portal of life? Nevertheless much love to all of you, and never forget the true display of life and the only shock to thee, will be through the blank pages of a torn notebook.
Your Brother in the "Dark and Bloody grounds".... (Kentucky in Cherokee)
David Price.
Thank you for the add, hope to hear from thee. Send word.
