Evenrain started in April 2004 as the reincarnation of the band Ashes Encased when a new singer joined the team. The bandmembers are not new in the scene, for they have already played in many metal and hardcore bands.
In their short career they have successfully presented their music in Slovenia, Italy and Austria supporing the gigs of Hatebreed, Pungent Stench, Disastrous Murmur, Rotting Christ, Carnal Forge, Destruction, Dissection, Primordial...
Their style is mostly fast and melodic death metal in the vein of Dimension Zero/At The Gates/Darkest Hour. The lyrics are a kind of self-reflection and are more expressive, which is a peculiar contrast to their direct and aggressive musical approach.
In December 2004, they entered Studio Sonus and recorded their first demo entitled "Obscured In A World Of Light".
After many agonies new songs were born, as well as a new line-up...and the future is yet unknown.

V mariborski Pekarni bodo metalcore-rokerji Curse of Instinct ponovno praznovali obletnico svojega delovanja in tam, kjer se je pred desetimi leti njihova pot začela, se bo 12. decembra 2009 tudi končala.
Kakor se za dostojno slovo spodobi, bodo na zadnjo pot odšli komadi iz vseh obdobij in repertoarjev COI, spremljale jih bodo projekcije slik in video posnetkov koncertov, turnej, vaj, razprodaja mercha, torta, piano...so-skupin ne bo, ker je preveč takšnih, ki bi si jih želeli imeti zraven, da še poslednjič zaigramo skupaj.
